Well he uses three fuses cause thre is one going to the battery and one for each ballast for the HID, so if there were ever a power surge of some kind they would prevent the Ballast from frying and blowing the HID.

OK picked up some wire today and a relay and relay harness for making my retrofit harnes today. Once i get the ballasts an connectors for them i am gonna make the harness for it.

Still debating on what projectors to go with, i was planning on the Acura TL ones but they are aparently big, but they also bave good output, basically right now though it is take what i can get.

Oh and Addiction2bass, upon further review i don't know why that guy used the extra fuses, he was asked the same question on HIDPlanet but he never answered.

LMFAO ya i told ya ;)

if anything thier should only be 2 fuses.. one for activated relay wire from its power source and one fuse on the relays power source. thats it tho....

i just think he went overkill.....
only reason youd want to double the fuses like that is if ya think your wiring job sucks.LOL id say IF YOU CAN hide the relay and at least TRY to run these new wires thru some stock wire loom... or add some wire loom where ya have to and zip tie it all properly so its clean looken... and IF ya realy want a clean look on the HIDs then fab up some covers for the back of the headlights as well as MAYBE some mods to the inside of the headlight lense...

if your gonna do it pimp REALY DO IT PIMP ;)

Yeah once i get everythign soldered together i am gonna get some loom and make it neat and tidy.. And upon researching on HIDplanet, you only need 1 fuse and that is comming from the power source(battery) I will do something on the outside of the headlight in the engine bay to make it neat, but the outside i am trying to make look as OEM as possible.

Damn that guy had a lot of creativety to think about wiring up all those wires that way.

Actually he basically just did what is on HIDPlanet.com and turned it into pictures. there are diagrams on there for pretty much every connection type

Ok i will be purchasing a set of Audi A6 BiXenon projectors in the next week or so, the seller is going on vacation and will be contacting me when he is back so we can make the transaction. I would get teh whole package from him for bulbs ballasts and projectors, but i don't have enough at this time, so i am just gonna get the projectors, then get some bulbs and ballasts later

Here are some output pics from them

Ok wel the guy i am buying the projectors from got back from vacation yesterday and i ordered the projectors from him today

Audi A6(E55) BiXenon Projectors

And i have found that i can get an adapter for my current HID ballasts so i don't have to get new ones (even though i should get some OEM ones and not aftermarket ones cause OEM > all others) but OEM Ballasts are like $200us for them. the adapter is like $25 lol so i am gonna pick up one of those soon

Like these
