^ try looking in the surrounding cities/towns... I live in the middle of nowhere (my town has a population of barely over 2000).  15 minutes away is a muffler shop that does absolutely amazing work.  Also, if it's a cat-back system, you can put it on yourself with jacks, jackstands, and basic handtools.

beware, rusted bolts leading to the catylitc converter are a biatch if yours are rusted.

^^^ i agree x100. you have to dremel those things off or use an impact wrench

i own a 96 civic lx and the exhaust broke off under my passenger side front seat and was wondering how expensive it would be to split it into dual exhausts or if this is even possible?

dual exhausts would kill the low end power on your car. to start, there's not much anyways. anyways, yes it is possible. it will cost probably ~$400 including equipment (mufflers, tubing, etc...)

Wow videos of the exhaust clips. Excellent thread... I'm looking for my catback now that I'm getting a refund after a failed attempt at getting an RS*R.

I have a new 07 Si sedan and was thinking about a catback exhaust. I want to add performance and a little louder.

Performance is the main goal, but I also want it a little louder. Any suggestions on which would fit this best. I guess 2"

would be best. DON'T want to loose ANY low end torque. Anybody out there with this car, or any good suggestions.

Thankyou, Jeff,

2" or 2.25", 2" isnt much of a gain for how expensive it would be. Just get a resonator (Magnaflow makes nice cheap ones), and then a nice muffler (not a $30 off of ebay, a NICE real one) and then bring it to a muffler shop and have them run custom piping from your cat all the way back, with the muffler on the end of the pipe nad hte res in the middle. You'll be hardpressed to find aftermakret support for an '07 so soon, so you'll havta go the custom route
