not ricey, and definitely deep. as long as you don't do something like remove your resonator, you're fine and it won't sound ricey.

If cost was no issue, what would you suggest for a little more sound, more HP, NOT loosing low end torque, for an 07 Si sedan. I don't mind a little loud, I just don't want people to laugh and attract the COPS. Quality looks and fit are also very important.  Thanks much!   Jeff

07's dont have much aftermarket support yet, so go custom. Get the longest resonator you can fit, with a DC or GReddy muffler, then 2.25" piping. That will be nice.

a custom exhaust satisfies all the conditions you listed:
- the muffler will look good because YOU choose it.
- a muffler shop can make anything fit
- if you choose the right size piping, you won't loose tq
- cheapest

by the way, because you're looking for a little more sound, get the netami twin loop or rsr exmag.... but like ALL aftermarket exhausts, they'll get deep if you WOT.

if I didnt press the gas pedal too hard would it still make the sound? I would like something that isn't too loud going slow down the street as I don't want to disturb the neihbors, attract cops, but still maintain a louder engine noise WHEN i want. A short ram intake sure helped but maybe something more would be nice. So do they only make the nice sound when gassed hard?

and after its been welded in, can I drive it home instantly? Anything wrong with running a muffler on stock piping?
