well the basemap would be telling my car thats its getting 8 PSI of boost, and then unhooking my charge piping would basically make it as if there was no turbo on there at all, except the ECU would still be telling it to pump out more gas (along with the 450cc injectors installed)....but i could be totally wrong lol idk, would you other guys think it would be safe to drive with the basemap for once i'm boosted with my charge piping unattached?

Thanks for the idea Mossy

the ecu will see no boost since your map sensor won't read any boost cause there will be no boost therefore it should run just fine...

^^^ Huh? BTW Ben, I got all the stuff I needed today. So welded up Monday, and shipped. That way if it doesn't work you can send it back and I can fix it before time to install it all.

Oh and the fittings only cost $2 for both of them. So you got out cheap!

The ECU will not tell it to pump more fuel until you get into boost.  As boost increases, so does the fuel.  So, just drive on the basemap, short shifting and avoiding boost.  You will be going very slow, and probably feel like a moron, but its the only way to do it.
