What does a throttle body spacer do? Does it add hp?

it does add hp. it increases your air fuel mix ratio and makes it burn better. some of them make it sound like a turbo spooling up if posing is your thing. the one i have is quiet and gives me better gas mileage than what you would normally get from a civic. it is a good investment in my opinion. you can find them on ebaymotors.

Don't waste your money, unless you've got forced induction.
