diamond plate floor boards????
 

has anyone tried putting inactual aluminum diamond plate floor boards and if so how did it turn out. i dont plan on cuttin on the floor of my car but cutting and bending a couple sheets to fit the front preety tight so that very little carpet shows on the edges would look good. any suggetions?

I've seen them pre-made somewhere...not something I would do tho, personally I'd find it ugly and slippery to have my feet on when driving. If it turns your crank, go for it but stainless steel treadplate is NOT light stuff...hope its not for a daily driver or for racing, cuz you're adding a crapload of weight!

It looks great when its brand new. but if used daily it scratches very easily and will never look like the day you bought it. for shows if you don't actually step on it, it will be ok. I had it in my trunk and regret doin it and its not cheap either..
