Greedy or HSK BOV
I dont kno which one is best. I not too interested in the sound as much as the preformance. I would really hate to hear my turbo spinnin in the opposite direction.
Alittle help plz. |
RE: Greedy or HSK BOV
well there both really good quality bov's, and the only reason why you would get a surge is ifthe spring is too tight, so basically its up to want you want.

RE: Greedy or HSK BOV
i am starting to make my own kit really. I have t3/t4 hybrid from turbonetics... thats all. Just started. Gettin the major stuff first. Later on i go on ebay and get the otherstuff. The list is soooo long. It will take me like a month to get everything... but i did find a dyno close by :)

RE: Greddy or HKS SSQ BOV
Both are great quality, just pick the one that you think sounds better/looks better.
Here is a video so you can compare: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uY2zj...9&index=73 |
RE: Greddy or HKS SSQ BOV
both are great, i like the ssq better just because you can change the little fin things out...it sounds better to me anyways.
|
RE: Greddy or HKS SSQ BOV
the ssqv will seal better b/c it is held closed with boost. compaird to the Greddy valve which is held closed by a spring. if i pick the 2 it'd be the ssqv

RE: Greddy or HKS SSQ BOV
the ssqv does sound better to me too i like the high pitch sound.
|
RE: Greddy or HKS SSQ BOV
GReddy sounds sick to me, i think they'll both do their jobs good enouhg, i'd say pick whcih sound you like better.
|
RE: Greddy or HKS SSQ BOV
Only problem with the SSQV is that it is the slowest BOV on the market to open. Not a big deal as far as I'm concerned, but that's what the "experts" say, lol.
