Default boost anticipation

i bought all the parts for a T3/T4 turbo kit for my 95 ex coupe. now im just waiting for my july 5 appointment for the shop to do my piping and install. im wondering its smart to go up to 7 or 8 lbs with my stock internals at 100,000 miles. i really want to at least keep up with my friends 04 M3 and 91 turbo acura legend. this post is similar to another one of my posts, but im just too excited

congrats! well its always best to start with the lowest amount of boost and work your way up while on a dyno. although most people will run 7lbs on the street with no problems.

I think 7 or maybe even 8 lbs should be alright. My supercharger pushes 7.5 stock, but its still brand-new (4,000 miles on it)

Oh yeah, congrats! You'lll love it [sm=smiley1.gif] Is this your first turbo setup?

I dont know about keeping up with an M3... those things are quick!
