i think that the FASTEST stock srt8 sedan (300 or charger) was something like a 12.7X...but that is something that i read online, so take it as you will.

I was at the mopar nationals this past weekend, and there were a handful of SRT8 sedans running, and the stock units were typically running in the very low 13s...but it was very hot (95+) and pretty humid. ive spoken to one person with a stock srt8 300c, who cracked into the 12.90s stock on a good air day. however, with simple mods like a CAI, header-back exhaust, and a good tune, there is a local shop who got into the 12.60s...

ya those srt8s are crazy and easy to get running real hard. its crazy though i see more and more of them out here in surprise, az and most of them are being driving by older people. its kinda like buying the corvette for your retirement present but now you are getting similar performance for a little bit less money and having more room. great idea on the srt model.

my wife and i are currently holding off on buying a new car, pending the release of the challenger. i am concerned that dodge will try to make this another supercar, rather than making a car that will compete with the mustang market...as there are so many rumors about it costing 50+...at which point, we will serious consider getting a 300C srt8. ive had a 300 touring for a rental, and 2 years ago i was at a media event where i got to take a 300c srt8 through an autoX course.it was SICK...a huge luxury sedan that accelerates better than most of the sports cars on the american market, and handles like them too? sick...and all for around 40k?

From the engine they say 225 hp, but if its stock right now figure 200 hp at the most. You want to talk about a stang, line it up against the cobra then we'll talk. 11.99 on street tires biznatches!

try 11.70's on street tires, lol...

A 5.0L foxbody unmodded these days is a rare sight. They may start with close to 200 to the wheels but those things take to mods like crazy.
