i believe the Pros may have a higher spring rate than the Basics, tho not entirely sure. im seeing 660in/lbs front and 440in/lbs rear(which is sorta high if not racing) for the Pros. the Basics im seeing a couple different rate settings but going by the eBay seller, its much much lower than the Pros. if it were me, i'd prolly go with the Pros.

im running the skunk2 full coilovers with pro topmounts in my eg and LOVE them, it feels like your more in touch with the car, the teins are gonna be softer more for the daily driver that wants a small drop but with really good comfurt. I had my friend ride in my car and asked me what i was riding on, i told him full coilovers without dampining and he said he didnt even notice because the ride was so good. My eg is lowered around 2 3/4 almost 3 inches and they still can go another inch.
between those two i would say the skunk2 if you are gonna be autocrossing. you could also go with something like ground control coilovers with some adjustable shocks/struts.
Cause I bought the Skunk2 about a week ago and the company that I bought them off says their out of stock for another week, but they offered to give me the Tein Basics for the same price.
