I have been searching with no luck. Who had the painted emblem on his steering wheel. I want to give him props. I painted mine yesterday from his idea. I gotta find the pic I took though.

What kind of paint did you use? What kind of prep did you have to do? Looks good...

ya preaty much just pop it out.... clean it with some alchol and tape it up and just paint it with your choice of paint ;)
ive thought about painting my H chrome or silver....

hardest part is poping out the button without damaging it.... get the SMALLEST flat screw driver you can find and just pop it out from a corner... ;)

does that little emblem literally just pop off or can you just tape it up on your stearing wheel?

it pops out...... thats how ya remove the wheel i asume... ive poped mine off before on my old 86crx... i dont see why they would changed it... if its HARD plastic it should pop right out... but if it flexes realy easy... then id just tape it up..

Yes it's to remove it.

I used a knife to pop it out, used some model paint I had for my model cars. Also I did it free hand (with no tape). Make sure if you are painting anything on your car, you clean it real good.
