under $600 including the car . . . who says racing is expensive as far as time, it's been about 8 days of working 3-5 hours at a time.

Marnie, I know what you can do to make the muffler fir. Get two u-bolt clamps from the autoparts store, chop the pipes near the muffler itself off and simply bolt the 4th gen muffler onto the crx pipe. It should work just fine and if it doesn't it only cost you $10...and if it works thatn you can either leave it at that (many cars have their exhaust put together that way stock) or have someone weld it.

Yeah, that's actually what I'm planning to try next week. I have two of those clamps, the dual pipes on the rusty muffler are held on by them. Finishing the brakes/suspension was more important at this point. I'll have an update later
