Default RE: oil fill plug?

heres what i do and it works everytime for me. remove the reverse switch located at the top of the transmission. find a funnel that fits into the hole, then fill. the fill plug on our trannys are by far the worst engineered IMO.

Default RE: oil fill plug?

There is a fill hole on the bottom part of the tranny I think 17mm if I remember right. The book says to fill until it will drain back out same hole. The problem with that is it's on the side so a regular funnel won't work. It says to use a syringe, or I imagine a flexible small type funnel would work dropped down from the top of the engine. I used a rubber hose duct taped to the funnel. It isn't too bad to get to from under the car. [:@]
