best swap for my ride?
 

What would be the best swap for my ride? I was thinking on b18c1 but someone told me that those motors are heavy and my car is really light and he said i wouldnt get all of the traction and he told me that i would be better off going with a ZC. The only thing i do not like about the zc motors are that it is hard to find upgrades for the engines.

I was also thinking of doing a b18a swap into it but since he said that the b18c1 engine is heavy then the b18a one is probably heavy as well. I am so confused of what motor to get that would be cheap and easy to do. And i also dont really like zc's becuase they are low in hp and torque. Tell me what you guys think i should do.

haha. yeah, the b18c is heavier than stock, but trust me, the 70-120% power increase you get from the swap makes up for it. if you cant afford the 3K+ for the B18, then the ZC is a good choice. most upgrades for a D-series single cam will fit, so its better than it seems.

but see my car is a dx so i got lots of work to do and it would be expensive and i gotta wire up vtec n ****.

but see what all will fit on a dohc zc motor?

header and such. there really are quite a few parts for them, you just have to know where to look. Kappa here used to have one, and had a bit of stuff done, he should know where to find a few special pieces.

Yeah, 5G D-series turbo kits bolt right up to ZC's. Speaking of which, I'm getting ready to do another one after being MIA for a week on spring break.

the z6 with a t28. that **** will fly for cheap.

Good idea, but you should look at the FP Big 28 too. Lower spool and the 28 compressor... perfect for a Civ. I'm lining up for one after I'm done with the swap.
