will i be wrong
will i be wrong to get some 8" subs installed under my rearseat? I have a lot of female friends ride with me a lot and I didnt want them to think I was trying to give them a vibration from hell. I was gone get some 2 10" subs on the back of the rear seat. I have a alpine head unit, with alpine 6x9 in the rear and pioneer 6 1/2 up front. Im gone get some tweeters also to get that good vocal sound going. Im just having problem with finding a good amp to power this. Any suggestions? yes its a 2 part question. Thanks

RE: will i be wrong
I dont know how it would be physically possible to mount 2 8" subs in a box under your rear seat... i could be wrong though...

My bro's 98 ex sedan's gas tanks under the rear seat, might not have room for them.

RE: will i be wrong
you could always raise the rear seat... or just put em in the trunk like everyone else...
Ooooo flush mount w/ the roof and have them above you, and your seats [8D] |

RE: will i be wrong
If you roll 8's, put em in the rear deck. Have a shop price you a custom install like that, have them mounted right next to your 6x9's. It would be a decent increase in mid's and low's, but not as bumpy as 10's.
Or if your worried about space, buy 1 nice 10 or 12, and amp it with the correct power, it should be just enough in any civic to rock out. |
