Why do people think skylines are untouchable? Maybe its all the hype that it gets from being rare in the US. I lived in Japan and got sick of them. They are everywhere... and honestly not the quickest thing on the streets in Japperville. I've personally seen an EVO IV humiliate an R33 GT-R.

All my friends with GT-R's hate the way the AWD system is setup... most mod it into a RWD setup for a few hundred dollars.

i think they are popular because of the way they are portrayed by video games and movies...i certainly wouldnt call them untouchable, but they are very quick cars...and have a great deal of potential...i, however, do not have the experience with them that you do...but i am still a fan..and would like to own one..[8D]

Been there, done that... I had a turbo R33 (non-GTR) for about a year and loved it. Not the quickest car out there, but it was a blast to drive. Like said... Great car, but I wouldnt be suprised to see a lightly modded STi take one in the 1320
