wow i was thinkin of jus getttin my sidebumpers n skirts painted cuz of this reason
but HELLO SKIPPYY NATURAL PB. haha

saves me money, and forces mom to buy me more pb.

LMFAO looks like ill have to steal some PB from work tomorow and try it on my side skirts.... i have some lines running down them which now that i think about it COULD be wax residue... but will the PB take the wax off the car as well? ;)

umm ok its been about 3 days now and it looks like the spot where i put the PB has come back to haunt me and now its got a brown tint to it....lol...i dont know what to do now...i might just see about getting new pieces i guess if nothing else works just because you can see it pretty clear from about 20ft.

Sorry it turned out for you like that... Honestly, I've never heard or experienced it doing that. Did you have a lot of cracks in your mouldings? If the wax stained the surface, the peanut butter removes the surface stain. But if you have deeper cracks further beyond the surface, I can see how you could get that result. If you don't have any dents in the moulding, you might look into getting them painted to match. New plastic mouldings/parts will eventually stain again, but a painted surface will not. The best thing to do is mask those areas off. Though a bit more time consuming, many people (including myself for machine buffing) use that method to prevent wax from staining plastic surfaces. You might try back to black or some other protective paint-like coating. I don't know...

well see the thing is that its not cracked or anything and its pretty stiff but kinda flexible....its not smooth like i know older civics are...its REALLY bumpy and i think thats what makes it harder to clean off and thats why i dont know if i could paint it or not but i might try.The main problem like i said is that its so bumpy and has that crappy texture feel so thats why its harder to clean off and it just tears up towels when i try to wipe....
