Default chilton or haynes?

Is there a difference between the Chilton and the Haynes repair manuals? Like is one better than the other, or are they both basically the same and it doesn't matter which to get?

haynes is very generic, chilton is the "step up".
Or you can get a full shop quality service manual (better than both haynes and clilton) free for here: http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Civic/
woohoo!!

I personally have all three. I find that if one does not have a certain picture or diagram one of the others will. So far I have not found something that all three didn't have. LOL

Can you get these... "Chilton"... books online, cause i hadta go to Can tire to get my Haynes manual, and online retailers said they couldn't sell me one(Haynes)

and if I can't buy them online, where could i buy one... keep in mind I'm in Canada... w/o a working passport atm
Thanks!
