In light of the "fake sunroof" threads, I think its time for a little experiment.

We need to create something that is so utterly useless that noone should buy it, adn put it on EBAY and see if someone does.

And ideas people? This can be anything that would a ricer would buy. Oh and if you have an idea, then post a drawing of what you are thinking.

REMEMBER, this has to be stupid and MUST NOT add to the performance of the car in any way. It must be USELESS!!! ROFL

I am thinking just doing the diff hanging down so that you can see it from the behind the car. No axles or anything. Keep it simple and easy for some dumb kid to install. I think just making so that you can use double stick tape to stick it to the gas tank will be easiest. LOL

How about a header that allows you to have "true" duels. It will like alike a 4-2. Cyl 1 and 2 will go together then connect to anexhaust pipe leading to the muffler and then cyl 3 and 4 will go together into another exhaust pipe leading to the other muffler. That might cost a little too much to make though.

I think I am gonna go with the Fake Diff idea. Its simple and should be really cheap. If I can get my vacuum form table setup it should be a breeze.

I wasn't thinking production level, but that could work. And form the magnet so that it would flow with the lines of the car and not pop up at the edges.

by production i meant just making an item to sell in the first place. its the easiest and cheapest so even if it dosnt sell ur not kick urself over alot of work on it lol. rear diff is a nice idea, but whos gena make it(i know it'll prolly justbe some plastic piping but still)and deal with shipping and whatnot?

I dont care if it cost me a few buck and a fewe hours. The laughing over soem fool buying it will be worth it. LMAO

I say a decal of louvers for hoods and/or a decal of louvers as in the Z3 fender thing. A Y pipe for the look of duals but one is a decoy.

They already make those... 15" hubcaps that cover an extra 1" of the tire around the hubcap, making it look like it has 17's.

I have an idea. How about a low cost wing? And by low cost, I mean built with plywood, painted with spray paint, and screwed onto thecar with L joints. LOL Say it creates air resistance around the car making it a rougher more race-like ride...

I am doing the fake Diff. I have the foam form curing in my bathtub as I type this. I will fiberglass it tomorrow and then its just the bondo, paint and done. LOL

I know you already made the fake diff, but I just got an idea. You should find someone with an S2000 and take some pics of the differential and try to exactly recreate the S2000 Differential. That way, you can advertise that it is a S2000 replica diff.

That is what I am going for. LOL I have been looking for pictures of S2000 Diffs. And I only have the foam mold made. At this point I start sculpting it to the final shape. SO there is still time to do it just like an S2000. So post up some pics of one. I need a really good shot of one.

I think I must have gotten a few drops of hardener in my gallon bucket of resin last time I used it. LOL Bad Idea kids as it hardens the whole thing. So I have two new gallons on order and as soon as they get here I am gonna be finishing this thing. I am really ready to be done with it. LOL

I got my new fiberglass resin in three days ago. So I should have it finished and ready to go by next weekend!!!

I was thinking some form of double stick tape, but the crap on the bottom of the car might not let it stick well enough. Then I thought make it so it hook onto the tow hook. But do all year models have them like the 96-98s???

get some vhb tape from 3m tell them to scrape the crap off of the cross member oh and if its glass to vhb it will never come off (vhb tape= double sided foam tape that’s dark grey) allot of cheep wings are attached with it so the user will be familiar with the use you may need to do some research to find it its kind of a specialized thing
