Gauge Faceplate

Recently I just purchased the JDM Civic Carbon Fiber Gauge Bezel and also a Reverse Indiglo Gauge Face (the #s only change color at nite instead of entire dash). Both are my first mods to my 1998 Honda Civic EX Coupe and I can't wait to see how it turns out. The bezel cost me $50 and the gauge face is costing me $90. I guess that isn't too bad for a new look.

Sure thing. I ordered the bezel on ebay and the gauge face will take abt 6 business days to get in since the shop had to place an order for it. I will take pix both in the day time & nite time to distinguish the looks.

Someone at the JDM Honda Civic informed me that the JDM Gauge bezel has a hole missing on the left hand side for the maintenance check. I was wondering how hard it would be to cut out a hole in this type of bezel coz I'm sure that "feature" will come in handy someday. Here is a pic of the bezel...

i would try a drill to make a nice little hole. it might be easier and cleaner.

you might be able to cut a hole with a Dremel rotary tool. I can't think of anything else that might work.

Well I tried to take out the bezel 2day and the freakin' thing wouldn't budge after taking out the 2 screws. I read on several websites how to do it (sounds easy) but I'll give it a try again.

As for the reverse indiglo gauges, I'm gonna let a professional installer do it coz of time constraints and the fact that if I screw up any of the needles during installation, I pretty much f**ked. I have detailed instructions how to do it, but not worth the trouble to get it done myself.
