For a class tomorrow a club sponsor (some race shop)of our manufacturing project is bringing in a 700HP civic. It is turbocharged, but that is about all I know about it. This seems frikin rediculous. Is this a "normal" project car?? I mean do most people who do engine mods and turbos get this type of result? I wonder if the guy has a nitrous kit as well. I can't really feel like the 700 HP is validated or accurate if this performance is only reached for a split second when the **** kicks in.

I'll ask the guy some questions. Like shouldn't it be able to reach speeds over 200mph and how long before the motor blows up?

ive seen civics on the computer pushin more then 700hp...they have extensive work done to the motors and some serious turbos not a greddy bolt-on etc. lots of money$$$$$$$

I came away impressed not with the car, but more about the knowledge these guys had about the turbo/performance industry.

The thing is 700hp and street legal. I doubt it would pass emissions though.

These four guys started this company their senior year at ASU. All have degrees in mechanical engineering. They've only been operating the company for 2 years, and it seems a success.

Geoff, the owner, gave most of the presentation. He said the company sufferred at first, because everyone thought their **** was overpriced. Eventually they won over a lot of race enthusiasts/ street racers. He really bashed on most of the turbo kits on the market today; no R&D, just companies copying each others "cheap" turbo kits.

As i look at their site I can see what other people have called "overpriced". $4500 for a turbo kit!!! I doubt my car is worth that.

Some street legal car they built can run a 8.? second quarter. anyways I'll keep coming back to this site just to window shop.

but dude, if you can get 450hp off their STAGE 1 turbo i can see why theyre charging as much as they are

my friend has a 6th gen that will run a 9..its got alomst 50k into it

that is one serious timing belt! I noticed they made a good choice with the headunit. ; )
