Default 350z vs GTO 6.0

350z running intake / throttle body spacer / catback exhaust
vs
GTOthat was loud as hell, so he had at least an exhaust, made me go freakin def almost

well, we jumped on the freeway after the gto called us out, and my buddy threw err down and hung with it on the offramp, when they launched doing a 70 roll the gto pulled ahead for about half a car length before my buddies Z creeped back and took the lead to at about 85mph, after that it was Z all the way

now, a gto has 4XX hp from the factory and a Z only has 310hp or something like that and a z is a tank, so is the gto but they are probably not that big of a difference...

i dont know, we were both shocked as hell... did the gto just not know how to drive?

Was the GTO a automatic? If it were a 6 speed it would have been a total difference

from a roll it would be a dramatic difference

AGTO 6 speed runs to 60mph in around 4.7 seconds and the 1/4 mile in around 13.2 at around 106mph. The 350Z gets to 60mph in about 5.4 second and through the 1/4 mile in around 13.9 at around 100mph. With the mods that are said to be done to the 350 I could be nice and say .2 off the 0 to 60mph tim and .3 off the 1/4 mile time but still the GTO with a "loud ass exhaust" would need to have a little taken off also because as everyone kows the gen 3 and gen 4 GM V8's take to mods very well, It would take a dramatic difference for a car to come up with a additional 6mph on a trap speed. The auto though is nowhere near as good at taking advantage of the power band and it also alot less efficiant.

she was an auto for sure, kid had his right hand on the wheel the whole time...

and this was from a 70 roll, took us for a second then the z took charge..

still shocked the hell out of us, i thought gto's were a lot faster than that... z's have like 240 at the wheels only, my civic once it boosted will destroy that i hope (2 weeks nickas [8D])

310 at the crank, my buddies very accurate butt dyno says he only has like 240 at the wheels

my butt dyno thinks at 10 psi i will ahve at least 230 at the wheels in my civic, and over 1k less in weight

gg no re to the z, out of butt dyno calculations

haha yep very true. ^ I do have 2 DR's for the front, when I do go to race. I wish I had a set of slicks though. I could run mid-low 12's for sure.
