This holiday weekend i set out to have a blast. I went to some parties and what not but last night was the icing on the cake. As my buddy is driving my Civic home from the party i grunt over to him to slow down so i can vomit. Before he can stop fully my gag reflex kicks in and i go to lean out the window. Funny thing is is that since he was breaking real hard my seat belt locked up so i couldn't get my head all the way out the window. Long story short i ended up covering my doorDoes someone have any tips for getting vomit out of there window control switches and down in the space between the window and door?

Ohh man. Thats bringing back some memories... that I dont actually remember. Dude cleaning vomit is a bitch. Trust me. Clean it properly as soon as you can or it'll start to stink BAD. Remove the door trim and get in there and clean it! I ended up takin my plastic trims out and hosing them cause I could get into all the spots properly.

undo some screws... depending on the year of your civic, there will probably be one in your door handle, one in the arm rest, and one or two by the speaker.
then just take a prybar, or a long screwdriver and go behind the plastic, and infront of the metal... careful not to scratch of course
best to work from the bottom up on removing the panel.

chances are you might break a door retention clip or two, soo pick up some just incase.
then once its removed, unplug the speaker, and remove it (same with any other electrical connection), and probably best to use a steam cleaner on the panel.
then febreeze the inside of the car.

ya id pull the whole door panel off and bust out some soaps and a tooth brush in all the controls and all over the door panel... might be easier to remove the whole door panel and hose it down.LOL
