So I'm at college... stricken for time, money and sleep. What's the best... yet reasonably priced polish/coat I can purchase. Plus... rinse car, lather with soap, rinse car, wash down with water, polish, wax, detailers, glass cleaner?

Just get some microfiber towels, and a bottle of something carnauba based. Take your time and it should turn out great

Well you can't throw all the kudos in every category to one vendor, but as far as having a variety of products, effectiveness and overall value are concerned, I would say Meguiars. There are some products that I prefer for certain results over Meguiars, but the majority of my collection is Meguiars. I don't have experience with Mothers full line of products but the ones I've used work great and they have a good rep. Meguiars carries products for everything you mentioned as they have a wide variety of polishes, waxes, washes, detailing tools, towels, their own signature DA polisher, pads, clay kits, compounds, the list goes on.... But like I said, you can't give all the honors to one vendor... Bananaboat, if you're trying to save your clear coat coming off, nothing will fix that but a repaint...
