Default Air Intake Shield

Has anyone tried one of these? While searching through Ebay, it caught my eye. Not sure how good it would work, or if it would even make a difference?\

Default RE: Air Intake Shield

it really would only block the dust maybe... but if you have your intake behind the bumper, theres no real point. your better off getting a hydroshield of some type, because that will help block out water from puddles as well as dust if it does get up there.

that lil thing probably wont do anything for you. dust will still travel to the other side and still get sucked in.

those shields are for cold air intakes only pretty much, and they go on the bottom of the filter to keep puddle splash from soaking the paper filter. They are only good for big puddles splash back, they don't do anything for rain or dust... the filter takes care of dust and debrix
