I like Meguiars Car Polish, it's like 4 bucks at AutoZone.  Always polish THEN wax, that way the wax protects the shine you just created with the polish.

Have fun!

You may want to try claybarring, or even using a rubbing compound to get the small scratches out.  Then Polish, then wax for win

whats the best kind of clay bar to get?
also i think the turtle wax stuff was a rubbing compund/polish. but i gota get something newer.
so in the end ill be using a claybar or rubbing compund (what kinds are best??) , then Megiuars Polish, then Royal Blue, then ill go over it all with a buffer. hows that sound?

We just used the Meguire's Clay Bar Kit on my buddy's Audi the other day, and I was very impressed with the results.  It can be found at most Auto parts stores, I think he got his at Autozone for ~17 bucks

Be very careful when using a rubbing compound, and be sure to read and follow the directions thoroughly.  If not done correctly you can cause damage to the paint.  But executed efficiently, you'll be more than pleased with the results

3M or meguiars clay bar.  I back everything 3M and meguiars makes.  I actually work at a Audi dealer and Audi recomends 3M.
