Default 06 in Motortrend

Did anyone else see the 06 Civ in the newest Motortrend? Man, it looks sweettttt! If they put 200hp in the Si what would keep people from buying the Civ over a RSX? A lot less money for almost the same HP. Makes me want to get out of school and get a real job to buy a new Civ.

yeah, but for the money I would think more people would buy a civ if the two had the same hp. what I'm trying to get at is that honda might be taking away from the RSX. which doesn't bother me much because I don't have the money to buy either, but usually that means that the RSX will have to see some changes to surpass the civic.

Tell ya what I saw today, a new BMW 6 series convertible. BMW should be shot in the face with a nuclear weapon for the total Lexus SC430 rip off of a design they employed with this vehicle. It looked like a piece of worthless-Bovarian-CRAP. I don't know about performance, but you all know I'm a looks kind of guy.

Lexus are the ones that should be slapped around for completely jacking Benz styling in most of their late models. [:'(]

back to the SI, the whole reason there is an Acura, is to appeal to people who dont want to drive a "honda". the same way that toyota has lexus, so people drive a "Lexus IS 300" instead of a Toyota Altezza. its a status thing. but i believe that WAS a major concern when they built the last SI, thats why they didnt give us the 200 horse motor before. but who knows, maybe this means there may soon be an RSX-R on its way?

I guess it would have to be a status thing. I'm looking forward to what improvements the RSX will have to go through to keep one up on it's brother. The other thing I was thinking about is that in an RSX you can get a 6-spd or leather(I think) where as you can't with a Civic. I like the new look of the civ way better than the RSX. I can't wait to see one in person.

the new SI is supposed to be 6-speed. but it is also supposed to have an LSD, which you cant get on an RSX.
