The Garrett T25 is a nice turbo too. you should go with the ball-bearing upgrade ImportKid 05-03-2004, 08:13 PM u can run up to 10 psi with stock internals only new fuel system and use a level ten torque convertor and tranny cooler and some other mods for better shifts slim11420 05-04-2004, 12:04 AM do a 5 speed conversion

manual way cooler than auto
D16sokdo 05-04-2004, 05:41 PM What do i need for the 5spd conversion ZzZzz EH2 05-05-2004, 04:57 AM What do i need for the 5spd conversion
Manual tranny, clutch pedel assembly, and there are other misc. bullsh*t parts I am forgetting.
lilol89crx 05-05-2004, 05:59 PM tranny, upper tranny mount, sh*t linkages, flywheel(not flexplate) clutch, clutch master cyl, brake lines, 5spd ecu, pedal assembly, tmie and patients. slim11420 05-05-2004, 06:14 PM LOTS AND LOTS OF PATIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! did one on an acura 2.2cl and i dont think i have ever cussed and thrown so many tools in my life....lol hoody1982 05-22-2004, 12:59 AM I've said it once and I'll say it a thousand more times, don't swap auto to manual, trade your car, it is not worth the pain in the ass and knuckles. As far as internals go, do it, you may decide you want to run 15 or 16 psi someday and it is easier to replace the internals before putting on your turbo parts. HoTTc1v1cChiK 06-30-2004, 11:54 PM um for only 5 psi u wont need to beef up the internals. ur stock motor will be fine with just that but go over 10 psi and ull def have to beef em up but for 5 psi just get one and tune it. Also keep it an auto or swap the car its easier and autos arent all that bad. |
