xenocron chipped ecu has arrived, need some guidance
 

hi, my ecu turned up today andi was expecting there to be a plug in point for a pc lead but there isnt?, also there is a spare chip, one of them should have a a base map loaded on with crome compatible software, how would i know (by running the car)?? how do they plug there laptop in then if there is no plug?

if you need a datalogging cable, you need to specifically order it. Are you doing your own tuning? if you're getting someone else to tune it, they'll probably bring their own equipment anyway

im not doing my own tuning im getting a company called thor racing to carry out this process, i will give them a bell and ask them. thanks

Hi again,How do they program the ecu though, if there is no pc plug? do they remove the chip and plug something into the zif socket.

Typically, they will use their own ECU to do all the tuning. Then, once completely, burn the final maps to the chip, plug it into your ECU, and send you on your way.
