OK what does DYNO stand for and where can i get one done???? like preferrably in TN, lol

its short for dynamometer

any local tuner shop should be able to direct you to the closest one.

yeah... a few times. They put your car on a treadmill kinda thing and hook it up to a computer. It reads your HP and torque in a chart form... showing levels at every RPM so that you can see where your powerband is. theya also set it up to check your air/fuel ratio to make sure you arent running too lean. It also measures emissions and stuff.

For instance...I will have my supercharger on very soon. After I get it put on I will do a dyno run with the stock airbox, then a run with the cold air intake. This way I can see exactly how much power the CAI gives me and at what RPMs the increase in power is at. If you do alot of modding then its a great help because it lets you "tune" your stuff. Makes sure its all running at its maximum output.
