Place: autopartswarehouse.com
Product: Mr. Gasket Distributor Cap, Translucent blue (you can see the spark)
Car: 1998 civic EX
Price: $32 and change
Installation: Very easy, even with minimal under the hood experience.
Review:  Couple days after install the rotor shattered into peices! Cap seems good, but use better quality rotor. The plastic is cheap.
And to be honest the sparking you can see within the cap isn't very bright and exciteing....

I was pushing it a little bit that day but not that bad. I was stopped at a redlight next to a mustang and wanted to push it a little bit, so I went up to 6000 rpms, shifted quickly, and as soon as I got into second it staggered and bogged, like it was running on only two cylinders (guy in the mustang must of been laughing his ass off). So I had to putter to the side of the road where it died and wouldn't start back up. I was freak'n out because at first I thought I had blown my engine. when I took the cap off part of the rotor along with the rest of it's bits and pieces fell everywhere.

So overall for the price and quality....    not impressed at all.

that sucks. this is why you should use stock ignition components

Nope sorry didn't get pics, I'm sending the cap and part of the rotor to get my money back.

In a way I still want to use the cap because it is kind of cool, but I question it's intergrity since the rotor failed.....

Kind of a bummer but you live and learn.

I've got the summit cap/rotor and wire kit and it has the transparent cap too, but mine has held up much better than yours.
I always thought Mr. Gasket was a quality company but i guess they haven't got the sport compact scene up to par. I hope you can get your money back.
