not sure if this would help anybody but this last oil change I used mobile clean 7500 which says it is a synthetic blend on my 1996 cive ex with 99,500 miles. but it has been about two months and normally I would have to have added about a half a quart of oil but so far with this oil ( I also used a mobile one oil filter ) it still reads full and hasn't gone through a drop.

I may go full synthetic next oil change but I will see if the no consumption continues.
