Default installing my new deck

I have a 2000 integra ls 2door and a brand new deck. how difficult is it to install the new deck myself? I have never done this before.

Do i just take the paneling around my stock deck off so i can un bolt it, pull the wire harness out, plug the new wire harness in and slide it back in and bolt everything secure?

I know i should disconnect the negative battery terminal, and ground the wire to a screw on my new deck. but is it that simple or will i need some sort of adapter?

When taking the head unit out make sure you remove the cage, also make sure you put the new head unit cage in as well, else it will not fit. Apart from that, everything should just slot in to place. When I put my new head unit in I didnt disconnect the battery, but it probably is safer if you disconnect it.
