Default b18c1 vs b18b

I'm planing on doing a swap in my 98 civic lx. I would like to know the pros & cons of installing a b18c1 vs a b18b. Any info would be appreciated

Default RE: b18c1 vs b18b

B18C1
[ol][*]Great torque and horsepower N/A[*]Can take low boost to produce higher numbers, more PSI will require work[*]In a civic can really make it get up and go (trust me I have one)[*]responds better to mods.[*]Cost more but its worth it[/ol]
B18B
[ol][*]Good torque not much in the top end but good low end grunt[*]Cheaper[*]Can handle higher boost then the B18C[*]not as much potential as the VTEC motor[*]A little better on fuel economy[/ol]
I hope this helps a little Personally I say spend the extra dough and get the B18c
