Default Neuspeed Exhaust SI

Anyone here have a Neuspeed exhaust on their 2002-2004 Civic SI? I've heard it's the best sounding exhaust, and for the cost of it ($700), it'd better be. I'm trying to find a good quality exhaust that isn't a screamer. I want to keep the car some what quiet considering I drive 80 miles round trip to work every day and practically live in the car on the weekends cruising around.

Woof. That's quite a commute.

I too drive about 50 miles to and from work totalling just under 100 miles commuting.

I don't want to be listening to a loud exhaust the whole way, but do wish for more power.

i would not suggest magnaflow but a better exhaust such has greddy or hks. Custom is also very cheap and easy. you can also get a resonater to quiet ur muffle. and if ur worried about 700 dollars why are u into cars lol

i have magnaflows on my stang and they sound great. and they are a great for the price. i wont use anything else. but everyone has their own preference.

$700 is waaay too much for such a simple exhaust setup on these cars unless that is headers and everything and thats stilloverpriced. they better install themselves for that price.

yea its completely different but still pricey. at least more that i am willing to spend. but to each his own. i guess its just the fact for me that the civic is more my everyday car and the stang is my fun car i guess ide be more willingto spend big $$ on the stang over the civic. im sure it would be different if the civic was my only ride i might be willing to spend more.

Don't get me wrong, I love my car and have spent $$$ on it alreay after only 2 months of owning it, but you're right, $700 should be for header, exhaust, and hi flow cat! I know you can get them for $500, not too bad. I had a magnaflow on my old CRX, and it did sound good, but way too loud. That's why I was asking about the Neuspeed exhaust, because I read somewhere that you can still hear the engine ever at high rpms, and with other exhaust, they're so loud all you hear is the exhaust. Plus, I'm not into the coffee can mufflers on the back anymore, had it tons of times on other cars, but not for this one. The Neuspeed exhaust has a simple duel tip polished muffler on the end...
