hey guys, im back. im in for this one. i started one but the reflection is killing me

lol, i chopped the reflection out... theres no way i would be able to do that and keep it decnet looking.

I think I have a good idea for getting around teh reflection...but I wont know till I try it out tonight...just gotta get creative!...so far this one has been fun...spent a little over an hour on it last night. Can't wait to see what people do with it.

lol...same...I dont know yet how I'm gonna make it work...but my goal is to still have the reflection.

The entries have to be 800 x 600 right? I think that's how we've done it in the past. Either way, I already made mine that size and there's no goin' back.

the reflections easy just don't worry about it till the end and then copy the bottom ish half of the car paste and filp vertically and htne cut out were its not being reflected ex.. the ground.. and then lower transparency maybe put some ripples in i dunno just don't do anything till the end or you'll be constantly changing it hahaha

Thanx steve for catching that...I edited the first post...and replaced the image with a better quality one...thats what I get for saving it at 1600x1200 then letting microsoft resize the jpeg....*punches himself in the balls till he passes out(almost)* I also changed the font..because my text layer wasnt merged :D

Looks pretty good Swank...I contemplated a chop top as well...and glad to see someone finally tinted the windows hehe... I spent too much time making sure my other door post was moved back...I didnt wanna cover that up;) ...all in all good first chop imo...better then my first I posted here

Yeah I'm still not 100% satisfied but I'm learning a lot as I go along, so I can't wait to do more. I'm glad you noticed the chop top I wasn't sure if people would pick up on it, I had fun doing it and definitly look forward to the next one. I gotta figure out the paint thing though it always comes out dull looking, I don't know. I think I'm going to work on a sig until the next comp though. How many days do they open it for voting?

Now that I look back at the tutorial I totally used the colorize effect and didn't just change the hue/saturation settings, don't know if that's the way you guys get your crisp color but I'm gonna mess around with it a bit.

When tinting, highlight the window and use the "Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast" feature to get a good even darkness.

And Steve I said your car looked killer so I complimented both :)
