Hey,
I and kinda new at this and was wondering what body style civic is better for racing and stuff. The hatchback or the coupe

its really personal opinion...hatchbacks are lighter but some people dont like the look of them so they prefer the heavier coupe

Either way you're going to be alright. We saw some coupe on here take down a Supra, so it all depends on that age old question of how much you throw into your ride.

i believe it's a couple hundered pounds. if you're going for the racing scene, i would recom. hatch. lighter weight and a bigger engine= faster ride. it's all up to you though. good luck!

on the other hand if u want a fast car that looks pretty sharp go for the coupe......they can be just as fast.

tsk tsk tsk. but anyway, a coupe has a longer wheelbase than a hatch, which is better for traction in a straight line. and a dx coupe weighs considerably less than an SI hatch. although the other hatches weigh less than any of the coupes. 5th gen specific, though its about the same through the other gens too.

well i want a civic, but i dont have the money for an Si, so what are the better civics for racing besides the Si?
