Default Official Artwork Thread...56k No Way

O.K. I know that we have the Official Photography Thread. So I thought: Why not have one for just artwork. Paintings, drawings, digital art. Just a place to show off your art skills. ((Mods- Feel free to yell at me for this. LOL))

Just put a little something to let us know what it is. Nothing to in depth. Just a short description.

I will start with one of my own.

This is one I did a few days ago to test out my new tablet.

That guitar is wicked Rice. I've done some pretty cool drawings for school, I'll post those up.

Here are three of mine:

This is a reproduction of "Storm on the Great Bridge" that I got commissioned to do back in high school. ((The local mall commissioned a bunch of us to do 50 different works. They were all 4 foot by 4 foot. It took us FOREVER to do them all)) I got to keep this one that I did.

These next two are sketches from one of my journals. circa 1997

very nice work from all yous guys.

gsumano - who is that singing in those last sketches?

rice eater- that guitar is glossy as hell! haha you can see the reflection of the chair perfectly.

i have a bunch of art in my trunk i should take out since it gets tossed around a bit. can take pics of that later. as for what i do have available on the computer..it's all graf.

first started doing sketches..then marker tags, throw ups, then pieces, and then finally got into a little stenciling.

sketches

this one was for an ex gf that i'm still cool with. she got married and had a kid. it says amber at top, jon in the middle to the right, and jake at the bottom left. they're all interlinked since they are a family. ha still haven't sent it to them and it's been years since i drew it.. did send them an image of it though. [8D]

this one was for a friend from high school that was dying of cancer..****ty situation because he died before i got it to him via mail.

tattoo design for a friend to their specification. says god forbid and the can is the i. yep, the band. i was kinda unhappy at how the letters are different sizes..ie the g is small, height wise, they seem to grow..so i added some filler below the g to keep the whole thing basically the same height all the way through.

random sketch i did during class..see the blue lines on the bottom left? was in my "notes" for some class.

sketch for an ex's husband while he was away in iraq. am i sucker or what? hah i still get along with her very well and have talked to her husband a few times.

some handstyle.. "rivers of gore" did it for someone whose band's name was rivers of blood haha i accidentally did gore thinking of some metal website that has tabs and whatnot.

random sketch from one of my books.

sketch for another girl..this time not for anyone she knows hah. doubt i'll marry her..but if i was to pick one girl that i'd likely marry in the future..it would be this girl. it says "hollis" which is her last name.

stencils

spoof on the "eat mor chikn" chick filet ads.

stencil of my tag name..some of the sketches above are of the same.

random stencil i did..just playing around with it a little.

paint..well those stencils were paint.. but these are some simple pieces.
