Yeah...I want to get some dc sports headers but don't know what to get if the 4-1 or the 4-2-1 both are carb approved. I don't know which to pick out????? I don't want my car to get to LOUD. So what is the best one here people. Thanks for your time. Here are some PIX

I have a 4-1 on my 97 civic. I like it, power band just like it says. About stock from idol up to 4k then it will start to pick up. I had an ebay 4-2-1 that the previous owner had installed andI think this is agood improvement. A header will not make your car any louder, it might make it a bit deeper though. You just have to pick where you want your power to be made. 4-2-1 for low to mid power and 4-1 for mid to high power.

I have installed on my car a magnaflow street series muffler with a high flow cat (magnaflow) resonator still installed with 2' inch stock piping. I didn't go the standard 2' 1/4. It would be a waste money a 1/4 wouldn't make a difference plus all the extra money I would waste...
So the 4-1 would give me more power or which one would make my car take off quicker. Installing headers my sound would definitely change

I also have stock and prices are around 250 for my car. More likely I will be getting them from Ebay but of course the real deal DC Sports not some generic garbage brand

No the decision is up to you. If you want low to mid end power buy a 4-2-1, if you want mid to high end power then buy a 4-1. I can't tell you which one you want. I have had both on my car and a 4-1 fits the way I drive. But I can tell you that no matter what kind of header it is it will not make your exhaust louder, just slightly deeper. Don't call me buddy. It is condescending and I am justtrying to help you instead of just telling you to read the sticky like you should have.

this is my problem with 4-1. My buddy has 4-1 headers and his car is low..real low. and the bottom of the headers where it bends and goes underneather the car is flat from being bottomed out. so if your car is low..would it be better to have 4-2-1? I like the way the 4-1 looks tho....its like a catch 22 thing huh?

WOW sorry for calling you buddy. What do you want me to call you WEIRDO or something gayer. My bad if I offended you in a way[:-]... well does the 4-1 sits lower than the 4-2-1. My car is lowered just a bit. But the the 4-1 looks sicker
