I understand you want to limit post whores and what not, but I can honestly say I would post more but I am too impatient to wait the 1 minute for flood control. I can understand 10 seconds or something but it is limiting. I have one of the biggest PS2 forums out there and I don't even bother with flood control. If I notice someone is abusing the posting system, I tell them. If it continues, I suspend then.

It's set up that way more as a spam deterrent than anything else.

It WAS setup for spamming... we had a nasty rash of it like 2or 3 months ago. If you ever have surfed around the forum and seen <deleted post>, those were spam.

I think it would work better if the delay was 30 seconds, but that's just me.
