I use car soap and ELBOW GREASE. i dont wash my car often enough and when i do the car needs allot of extra effort. Most of the time I dont even kid myself, and for 6 months of wheel grime and dirt,,,,,,,,,,, I remove the rims(one side at a time, and get my tire rotation takin care of at the same time) get a scrb brush, kitchen dishes type, and dish soap,,,ya know the tv commercials that say their dish soap cuts grease, the aren't just good on cooking grease they are good on car grease too. I will scrub the INSIDE of the rim with lots of dishsoap and water. then wash the inside of the rime with a old rag and dishsoap and water. then the exterior of the wheel I wash with a wool washmitt, the same one i use for the body. When I do a typical car wash I use a wool washmitt and car soap but the dishsoap is for cleaning the grime from the inside of the wheel. taking off the wheel will actually save you lots of wash time and the improved apperiance of the inner rim being clean will make the outer rim seem cleaner than it actualy is. It would be nice to have some product that does the work for you. But nothing will. Its all marketing my friend. And that's why were are all here on hondacivicforums to cut thru the B.S. and talk to real civic headz to see what actually works before we waste our money or time on some bogus product.
