it'll go on.

the flywheel isn't even torqued down yet and when we opened the release bearing one of the little grabbers (that holds the fork on either side) was cracked off :(

So I had to run to advanced auto and buy a new one for almost 30 bucks

Im def gona be following this build big time cuz this is what i plan on doing with my car in the near future. How would you rank the difficulty of this?

well, the projects pretty much done guys!
cars running and MANUAL! (but with bad idle--I need to hunt for the 2 wire plug tomorrow)
There are a couple other minor problems that will be fixed tomorrow

I'll post details and pics soon
total cost and list of everything you need coming asap also

It took 6 of us 2 days.
Could have gone faster I suppose, but for the most part we did pretty quick work.
Had to go to autozone numerous times (details later)

The only thing I see wrong with any of it....is in the very last post.   You made us clink to HT to see your pricing.  Shoulda made them click a link to here.

Good job though glad to hear you got it done, and that is a pretty decent price too.

looks good.....
im sure it feels faster....
i got 2 cars that preaty much are the same thing but ones a manual and ones a auto.. the manual feels faster... if it realy is im not quite sure... BUT the ability to control the motor and tranny feels great!



but  wait..... what about the pedals? dont tell me your rocken smooth steelies.LOL
