can you put an h22 in my del sol?? - 12/17/2007 1:13:59 PM    teknogeekmle   Posts: 5 Joined: 11/5/2007 Status: offline i have a 95 del sol, originally the 1.5L w/ automatic tranny. my timing belt broke a while back while i was driving and doesn't seem worth fixing. i have wanted to put a different motor in the car for a long time, so i took this as the opportunity to do so. i bought a jdm h22 w/ a manual tranny. we worked on trying to get the new motor in for quite some time, but lack of time and knowledge caused us to get frustrated and give up, and i need someone to take over the project. the h22 is under the hood, but not mounted all the way. i have most all of the parts. i just need someone who has done this swap before, who knows what they are doing, to take it over from where it is right now. i really want to get my car running. i know this is a difficult swap, so any help on where to find someone to finish this project would be greatly appreciated. i live in the denver, colorado area, btw...
