short shifter
 

hi people

ive recently put a short shifter in my civic vti and was wondering will it mess up the clutch or gearbox? ive had the clutch replaced a week ago as i messed it up, a piece of the clutch plate broke, do you think that this was because of the short shifter or not?

Do you think that a short shifter can mess up the car? im not sure whether to take it out and put the standard one back in, please could you help as i am stuck

this is my first day on this site and i think that it is very handy with everyone helping eachother out with your advices, nice one guys

I wouldn't think that it would be the shifter, since it simply shortens the engagement between gears.

yeah i doubt it was the shiftet, what year is your car? maybe it was just ready to break and finally broke

its on a 1992 k reg, guess what happened 2day, i some how broke my short shifter havn't got a clue how, the rod has snapped in half, need 2 get another 1 nw :( what bad luck init?

get a steel shortf shifter...not aluminum
