Default New Alpine System

I haven't posted in a couple of weeks because while I was home for Christmas I worked almost every day, not to mention getting my wisdom teeth out. Anyways, the reason I worked so much was so I could install all my stereo stuff and I did so here it is.

I got the following equipment:

Pioneer DEH-P6900UB Head Unit:

Alpine SPR-17C Speakers:

Alpine SPR-69C Speakers:

Alpine MRP-F550 4 Channel Amplifier:

Alpine MRP-M650 Mono Amplifier

Alpine Type-R 1242D 12" Subwoofer

I also ordered all the wires and cables from knuconcepz.

This is what the new trunks setup looks like:

I installed a hinge so I could still get at my spare tire:

If you wanna see some more you can visit my car domain:

I love the system it's loud and clear and sounds great. I love the ipod interface too.

I have all alpine too (except HU and amps)
front type X, mid type R, rear type R, sub type X

To be honest I don't know...they just don't get loud enough for my taste, and i hate the sound of the type Xs

Nice setup.

Let me know how that type R sub holds up on that alpine amp. I am looking to get the same setup for my wife's CR-V. 1 10 and a 400w alpine mono amp most likely. Just something to not sound so, ... boring.

hey there ltkenbo,
I was suggested to get the amp as well as I heard it was really good! however I can get the alpine MRV-F345 for cheaper so I'm not sure as to which one to choose. How much did you spend on your parts total?

I also been told that alpine was a really good brand - is this true? because I am planning to get everything alpine as well.

Any advice appreciated!

Thanks,
Chris.

Sweet... Looks good. Glad to hear you're happy with em - I just bought the same components, 6x9s, and 4 channel amp; just waiting for them to arrive now.

Is that a single sub, or do you have one on each side?

How does it sound? I've been trying to think of a way to add a sub without losing any trunk space (or the spare tire).

i'm wondering also. i don't wanna screw with the truck, that looks like it could work, even if it was a single 10". maybe i could make something up to face downward?
