Default Is it worth the money!

Hi all! I'm considering buying a 05' Honda Civic Coupe EX special edition. The invoice price for that car is $16,778 + $515 for destination. I did get a quote from a local dealer for $16,300 and thats with the destination fee, registration, and documents. I'm still waiting for some more quote. Is $16,300 too much for that trim? any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Tony

I know seven isn't ging to agree, but you can get a mint 2000 ex coupe for very cheap and it will be the 6th gen which imho is the purdiest. Then you can use the remaining 7,000 (estimate) and customize your car the way you want it.

if u have that kind of money and want that gen go for it, but i agree w/ 2000ex, if u have that much $$ buy a new 99 or 00 trim and put the extra 7k towards customizing

For the price differential, I will say (you will never see this coming from me again, so treasure it) go for the 99-00. You won't have a warrenty, but it's still a Honda. Use the remaining cash for a swap and a turbo.
