Ok i dont know how you guys set up a contest or the whole voting system so this is just an idea then someone could run it or tell me what to do...

Not sure if this has been done yet but take ANY car/truck/ect... and turn it into asponsership based ride or "promotional car" promoting a specific brand or company

I am new to photoshop and i had a fun time making a car based on Monster Energy also i did a red bull BMW concept

Feel free to say thats the gayest thing youve heard but just a suggestion, also feel free to make suggestions...

No dude that's not a bad idea at all. We have two guys here that set up the contests, Rice_Eater and Steveabbot. But they are open to all our suggestions.

I had been talking to Rice_Eater about a chop contest involving picking a car of your choice and making it into a UPS delivery car. This is kind of the same thing. I'm down, I think it would be fun.

yeah deffintly lil min thats a good idea, i say we should give it a try for sure, this would help everyone HAVE to do lots to the car.. yeah i think we can make this happen within the next couple days:D

Yeah this is just like the USPS theme I had suggested in the contest suggestion thread (after I talked to tbone some) I like it. I think since we are talking about leaving it open for whatever car, then we should decide on what we are promoting.

So.....toss em out there, what do we wanna promote? Soon as we get one, we can get the contest rolling. Glad to see someone brought something up that sparked some interest.

Will we have to provide an original image of the car?

im thinkin we should decide on a product EX. coke (anyone aposed to that or have any other thoughts) and then we'll have to have a base car to chop..

problems with choosing own base:
-people using old chops and just pasting on logos
-people using other peoples chops
-people using already modded vehcile pictures


now the only problem i can see is if we have poeple NOT doing anything to the car and just paste on logos...

now im thinkin if we do we should have a coke theme maybe? not just a coke car.. like a race car with coke grahpics... like a whole theme of it.. somthin wild

I think letting people choose their own base will give the competition a lot more depth. If we have one car, everyone's will turn out looking really similar.

It's easy to fix all of those problems: put it in the rules. Just say it has to be an un modded car in anyway, and tell them to send you the pic of the original AND the chop when they submit, so you can verify.

Also, I think most people will do the race car thing. People will be more inclined to vote for something wayy detailed and decked out than just a car with a logo on it. So if you wanna win.....

Set it up! No one said no to Coke, and you're one of the guys who sets it up. Since no one else gave their opinion, just do it. I wanna get started :D
