What is double clutching?

PUsh the clutch in and shift into nuetral. Let the clutch out. Rev match the engine. Push the clutch in, and select your gear.


Most commenly used on farm equipment and ver very old cars. Basically before synchros.

If you weld your intake manifold it will make it very hard to take off.

Double Clutching is required by the state of california for truckers.

its what LEVIII said... basically rev matching. Not needed anymore because of synchros. Someone has been watching F&F huh?

Double clutching is still useful btw. It keeps those synchros alive longer.

hahaha, i laughed my ass off when i watched that movie for the first time. i was in like middle school when it came out, but even back then i new what the hell double clutching was and that it wouldn't shorten your 1/4 mile time. i love how he also "melted his piston rings" and then managed to speed off when the cops rolled up [sm=icon_rofl.gif]. the advisors for that movie needed to be ****ing shot

yeah f&f sucked it was a ricers dream movie but blew i also loved on the first one where his floor plate started un bolting it's self and flew out from under the car. can someone say big imagination
