ideas for a good clutch please

ok so my clutch bit the dust. complete shot. So im looking at getting a new clutch. Everyone is telling me to order an performance clutch off ebay. im kinda iffy about that. I dont wanna spend 300 bucks on a clutch kit. I can order me an excedy oem clutch for 175. is that a good deal. im trying to determine if i should spend a little more. in the mid 200's for a decent stang 1 or 2 clutch but i have no clue how much is a good price or what brand to get. i need some help!! im open to any ideas :) what brand, what stage, where to get it from and price. Thanks guys. Also...I have a 2000 si b16. Thank ya!

stg1 1 exedy is a great street clutch. we had ours last 2 years on a turbo ls crx on slicks and was still working great when we sold it.

i like the act carbon clutch. i got a turbo civic, and a friend and i were testing it out we were able to do 5k launches on the vegas speedway. also the carbon clutch isnt as rough as a puck clutch and works better than a oem clutch imo.

I just bought an ACT AR1-HDSS Clutch on ebay, with a flywheel for my '04 Civic Si. It is phenominally better than the stock clutch. Has a great feel. The clutch cost me $350 shipped, and the flywheel was $200. Did the installation myself which saved me tons of money.
