A mechanic in the same "building" as my work has a 1991 Civic hatchback with a 2000 b16a2 motor in it with 110,000 km on it. He doesn't drive it hard at all, the old engine blew because it was the stock one with 310,000 km on it and he got the b16a2 out of a rear crash car.
He's selling it for $1500, as he's starting a family. anyone driven a setup like this? I figure 160hpwould be pretty good in a 2100lbs car. Any input?
seems like a good buy, the motor is worth that much

I'm gonna grab it but it has a lot of rust on the passenger rear fender, and other places. I done body work before, but I was wondering if it is a really big hassle or not. I was looking to get rid of all rust and get a paint job, and slap on some konig rims maybe.
that motor alone is worth about twice that much. so yeah its a good buy
A b16a motor for 3k? You're buying your motors from the wrong place then.
